Consulting, Private Equity, Hedge Funds and Marketing firms may include a case as part of their interview process. Case interviews evaluate your ability to structure and solve an unfamiliar problem. Interviewers want to see that you can digest and analyze information quickly.

At NEP Consulting, we will work with you on many different types of cases so that you can confidently complete any case during an interview. There are three main types of cases that interviewers typically ask:

(1) Profitability
(2) Market Entry (may include market sizing)
(3) Outsourcing

For reference, below are frameworks and sample cases to help you prepare and practice.

At the beginning of the case, the interviewer will give you some "context-setting" information. No matter what type of case you are solving, use the template below to organize the information you receive and structure your case.
